Employability skills and jobs for Londoners

The Mayor is helping Londoners to get the skills they need to access good jobs and lead happier, healthier lives.

To help everyone find a job they love, we've created a series of resources for Londoners. We also work closely with potential employers and training providers, to make London’s job market better at all levels.

Whether you’re a jobseeker, an employer, or a trainer, there’s a resource library for you.

What we are doing within the Mayor’s Jobs and Skills team

The Mayor is dedicated to underpinning London’s business landscape and skilled employees are at the heart of the capital’s economy. The Mayor’s priorities for jobs and skills are:

  • Empower all Londoners to access the education and skills to participate in society and progress in education and work.
  • Meet the needs of London’s economy and employers, now and in the future.
  • Deliver a strategic city-wide technical skills and adult education offer.

On the pages below you can find out about how the Mayor is investing in skills and find opportunities near you or online to take a course.
